Netflix picked up the British series most likely because there’s simply quite nothing else out there like it. The anthology series picks up a new concept usually involving a form of twisted technology to influence the episode and the people in it. More often than not, the stories never result in a happy ending but will leave you with a lot of questions. The third season and the upcoming fourth season will both focus on other drug lords and drug cartels. The series is well-produced and while it’s often dramatized possibly beyond the truth, it provides a fascinating insight into a world that most are alien to.
This series features Dave Depencier who swoop in to rescue amateur carpenters from their building mistakes. Most of the guests are happy to have help and gracious about learning the correct way to drywall or insulate their cottage. This one is a good mix of practical reno tips, non-toxic masculinity, and a good ole dose of DIY spirit. The best part of Reno My Reno is that the original ideas come from the owners themselves, and the hosts are just there to help them bring their dreams to life. Creative gardeners looking for unusual design inspiration will enjoy this competition series that has ten pairs of florists, sculptors and garden designers competing to see who can build the biggest, boldest garden sculptures.

Derry Girls is yet another show that proves subtitles are worth the work. This comedy series focuses of a group of rebellious teenage girls in Derry , and the background for the series is the tumultuous time in the early 1990's known called The Troubles. These girls and their families may have thick accents, but you'll come to love them once you get to know them.
It's based on John Douglas' book of the same name and charts the life of an FBI profiler whose job it is to track serial killers. It's set in the '70s and, later, the early '80s, and sees its trifecta of lead characters interviewing famous serial killers in often tense encounters. Based on a BBC Three TV show called Murder in Successville, Murderville follows Will Arnett's eccentric detective Terry Seattle as he looks to solve a new murder-mystery case in the series' six episodes. Seven episodes is just the right number and it's easily one of the best Netflix shows ever made. Midnight Mass is about a young man who returns to his secluded island home of Crockett to serve a parole sentence. At the same time, a new priest arrives just as miraculous events start occurring across the island – leading the whole community to embrace religion in an unprecedented fashion.

It’s a vibrant series featuring plenty of lore, baddies, and great set pieces. The history of Community is almost as fascinating as the show itself. It saw a lot of bumps in the road on its network but the facts are as follows. It’s Netflix’s best documentary series on the platform and a must-watch for every age group. We’ve purposely left off documentary series for this list in the interest of keeping it focused but we are making a special exception for this visual showpiece for Netflix.
The only disappointment about streaming the show on Netflix is the fact it streams solely in widescreen – but for most people that won't make a big difference. GLOW's purely fun comedy, packed with eccentric female characters, teams campiness with underdog triumph and soars.
